Tame Impala, fresh off a couple shows in October in Houston may have caused a frenzy on twitter after frontman Kevin Parker posted a tweet along with a photo releasing three upcoming shows, prior to that he had announced the group’s upcoming album releasing on Feb 14, 2020, all taking place in the beautiful state of California, in the span of one week. The shows are taking place in San Diego, San Francisco, and in our own very backyard in Inglewood. They won’t be alone on tour. They are taking one of the most popular artists today. Her name is Claire Cottrill, she goes by the name Clairo. She has recently been named Apple music “Next Up” Artist of the year. (an achievement that has been held by Billie Eilish the year before.)
This tour is set to take next year in March 2020. Clairo took to instagram and posted on her personal story saying that it was a great honor and a privilege for her to perform with Tame Impala. She is currently on tour right now across the United States and had shows recently in Los Angeles and in Santa Ana.
Fans instantly began to comment on the post begging for their city to be added to the 3 run show. Many fans seemed to be upset that they would not have the opportunity to see the band live due to the exclusivity of the tickets being released. Tame Impala is known for doing last minute shows and not giving much of a heads up.
